Restaurant Group Raises £3,840 In Football Against Hunger Tournament
The Richoux Group plc has helped raise £3,840 for Action Against Hunger, by hosting a football tournament on Tuesday 24th June. London, June 2014 Building on last year’s inaugural event, the Richoux Group Annual Charity Football Tournament 2014 saw 18 teams come together to compete and raise funds for charity Action Against Hunger. Participating teams included companies such as Gary Bluff Projects, Richoux HQ, Zippers, Deans Diner, Villagio, The Big Umbrella Company and Action Against Hunger. The day had a great energy with final match between Comtrex and Richoux Group HQ with the hosts Richoux crowned the 2014 champions. Ed Standring, Richoux Group MD said “It has been a great day for everyone involved. Staff have generously donated time and money to help make the event a success, and of course we’re delighted to carry on supporting the work of our charity partner, Action Against Hunger”. The money raised on the day could help save the lives of 91 severely malnourished children in Action Against Hunger programmes.
“The atmosphere on the day was incredible. It was inspiring to see so many people coming together to support us and show their commitment to joining us in the fight against child hunger. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year and giving the teams a real run for their money” said Tum Kazunga, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Action Against Hunger
